Petrossian is a French business enterprise established in 1920 with a wide variety of products, including fine spices, caviar and smoked fish. They had an e-commerce site, but were handling all their wholesale operation for restaurants and hotels manually.
Challenge
Their existing e-commerce site, built in Magento (now Adobe Commerce), had a few issues that had to be taken care of. And based on the way their wholesale process worked, we had to make sure that multiple stakeholders were onboard with the new platform, all while keeping the retail side of the business running smoothly.
Goal
Getting wholesalers to easily browse, purchase, and manage their orders has been in the agenda for many years. Being fully integrated with their existing back office, and offering features such as inventory management and automated billing, would further increase efficiency and reduce the likelihood of errors. Ultimately, the goal is to create a platform that benefits both the buyer and seller, leading to increased sales, improved customer satisfaction, and a more streamlined supply chain.
Solution
