Velos has historically focused on branding and strategy, as well as the design and development of mobile apps. They wanted to expand their capabilities and attract other types of clients and projects, including back-end engineering.
Challenge
Creating a seamless staffing plan for an agency is no easy feat. Lots of companies have failed in their attempts to either outsource or staff team members in other locations. We needed to culturally bond, show them that we have gone through a similar path, and that our ability to act as a true extension of their team is what sets us apart.
Goal
With the foundation in place, all cannons needed to point to getting more, bigger, and better projects. After a quick dry run on a smaller scale engagement, we were able to get a team of backend engineers staffed to an LA-based music distribution platform, which has been an ongoing engagement.
Solution
We don't believe in a "let me know when you're done with them" mentality. We are a tech-first company, with hundreds of projects under our belt, and will always intertwine not only at a resourcing, but also mid-management level.
